Our workshop is based in Marostica, the historic city of chess and beating heart of the Venetian Ceramics District. In this land, where the art of ceramics has been practiced since the 1700s, we passionately preserve centuries-old traditions, reinterpreting them through a contemporary language and essential design forms.
1977
Giuseppe Bucco and Flavio Cavalli, graduates from the Art Institute for Ceramics in Nove, open a small workshop in grandpa Cavalli’s basement, Linea Sette is founded.
1980
After three years of experimentation and research into ceramic materials, the two friends created a unique formula for handcrafting porcelain stoneware.
1983
With the aim of bringing innovation to the local ceramic district, a visionary path defined by minimal design is boldly opened.
1987
A building by Sergio Los, a pupil of Carlo Scarpa, of well-known architectural importance, made of iron-cement, is chosen as the company headquarters. It still houses offices and showrooms today.
1988
The internationalization process begins. Linea Sette exhibits at the Ambiente fair in Frankfurt — its first appearance on an international fair.
1994
In response to growing demand, production is relocated to a building in the artisan area of the neighbouring city of Nove, the heartland of Venetian ceramics.
1997
A design destined to become a symbol of Lineasette is born: the Elephant, a timeless icon that still captivates with its tenderness.
2000
A long collaboration begins with Prof. Angelo Spagnolo, whose experience enriches research and innovation in ceramic design.
2006
Driven by the interest of the furnishing sector, Lineasette debuted at the Salone del Mobile and appeared in international showcases in Paris, Tokyo, Moscow, New York and Dubai.
2016
Laura Pelosio joins the Linea Sette family, bringing with her the innovative and enriching vision of a young designer with a mature artistic awareness.
2018
Having inherited a passion for high-quality artistic craftsmanship and an innovative vision, Emanuele Bucco takes over the company, which becomes Lineasette.
2025
With a forward-looking vision, blending beauty and sustainability, Lineasette is renewing its company headquarters. It inaugurates a company archive and museum that celebrate its iconic creations, creative minds, and precious craftsmanship.
